JUNE 09 is "GOLF MONTH" as declared by Mitch Daniels, Governor of Indiana, for the second year in a row. Thanks to those courses who offer clinics and "Learn to Golf Programs during this time.


Annual Owner/Vendor Golf Outing
Hosted by PGA Scott Rinear at Foxcliff Golf Club in Martinsville, just 15 south of Indy's south side. The 2009 event was Monday, August 10, 2009 with 11:00 a.m. registration, noon
lunch followed by 1:00 tee off.  This is a great day of golf and fellowship!

Indiana Golf League Championship
Held on Sunday, October 10, 2009 at Juday Creek Golf Course in Granger, two-man leagues from across the state compete for the title of Indiana Golf League Champions.

2009 Indiana Golf League Champion Winners were:
          First Place:  Scott Cummings and Tom Moleski
          Second Place:  Lance Balbo and Jim Litteral
          Third Place:  Jason Hertel and Randy Holland
          First Place Ladies:  Carolyn Gibson and Jo Lyons

NGCOA seeks nominations each year from members to name an Indiana Member Course of the Year. Criteria: exceptional quality of course, ownership and management; outstanding contributions to community, and significant contribution to the game. Deadline: July 1 each year.
