HOST AN INGCOA EVENT
The Indiana Golf Course Owners Association invites you to invite us for an event at your facility. We are currently looking for host locations for the following:
  2010 Annual Conference Wednesday and Thursday, November 11-12
2010 Annual Owner Golf Outing Monday, August 9 or August 16
2010 Indiana Golf League Championship Sunday, October 10th
2010 Regional Meeting, Monday, April 19th AND Monday, April 3rd

NGCOA CONFERENCE DEEMED A VALUE!
The NGCOA Conference in San Diego was deemed a valuable experience by the members in attendance from Indiana. Owner and General Manager Mindy Ballinger of the Walnut Creek Courses in Marion said, "There were a great variety of sessions available, sending me home with notebooks full of ideas. We have already had a very productive planning session to implement some of these concepts in ways that fit our organization and make us more efficient at managing events, memberships, and employees. I also particularly enjoyed an opportunity to chat with owners from across the country after the Problem Busters Networking Session. We were able to compare notes on similar ideas and plans, trading ideas and brainstorming ways to be more profitable in a difficult economy."

LEAGUES ARE FORMING
Now is the time to take your leagues to the next level and give your league players the opportunity to compete statewide. The Indiana Golf League Network included over 1,000 players in 2009, offering league handicaps, easy league administration, and the chance to compete in the year-end tournament. At a cost of only $7.50 per player, your leagues can experience a new level of competition and watch their scores and rankings online at their convenience.

Members at the 2009 INGCOA conference reported league play was the number one consistent, and growing, market. Courses participating in the Golf League Network were successful in gaining additional revenue and rounds at their courses.  The program also offers a course the option to pay one fee and register an unlimited number of golfers. If you did not participate in 2009, please consider utilizing this great tool to increase rounds and revenue at your course in 2010.
