**Conference Follow Up**

To our members and potential members;

I was completely overwhelmed by the attendance and enthusiasm at our Annual Conference held November 11-12 at the award-winning Hawthorns Golf & Country Club in Fishers.  The meetings were well attended and filled with exciting information that will be used by the attending owners as we all struggle forward in these difficult times. 

I thank Donna Deno, our Executive Director, for her organization of the conference.  I thank Mike Hughes, CEO of the NGCOA, for not only making the trip from Charleston to join us, but for his insightful comments as our Keynote Speaker.  Mike also shared his wisdom at our board meeting and our meeting with officials of the IGA/PGA earlier in the day.  Most of all, I wish to thank the efforts of our INGCOA Board of Directors during the two years I have had the privilege of being your Association President. 

We all know the phrase "Strength in Numbers" and our strength is growing.  That's a direct result of a hard working Board of Directors.  We're fortunate indeed to have these very capable proprietors giving their time and expertise to the business of golf in Indiana.  We've accomplished a great deal in the past few years, but we have a huge amount of work ahead of us.  Incoming President Linda Rogers will need our support going forward.  I pledge mine, and hope each of you will do all you can to keep the momentum going.  If you know an Owner who hasn't made the decision to join us, please tug at them a little and help add to that "Strength."
